I’ve been obsessed with fitness and nutrition since I was about 11 years old. Over the years I competed in 2 bodybuilding competition winning my class each time, set provincial records in powerlifting, and more recently, finished a Half Ironman and placed first in my age category (I was the only one, but I’ll take it).
I studied engineering at Memorial University, where I also took courses in human nutrition. That gave me both the technical skills to build software and a scientific foundation for understanding how nutrition actually works. After getting fed up with all the misinformation out there, I teamed up with Jonathan Young to create a tool that cuts through the noise and gives people real control over their diet.
Prospre now has over 100,000 installs and thousands of reviews from people using it to hit their macro goals and make meaningful progress. I write about simple, practical ways to improve your eating habits and share what I’ve learned along the way.
